Leona Duberry

Pastor/ Overseer Leona Duberry was born August1,1932 to the late Will Williams and Lara Gibson in Bellville, Florida. She attended the public schools in Hamilton County. She served as a Pastor/Overseer for forty years.

Pastor/Overseer Leona Duberry passed away on August 31, 2021 and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Duberry, Sr.; sons: Harry Duberry, Jr. and John Duberry, four sisters: Betty Coston, Willie Bea Williams, Rosa Mae Jones and Daisy Cure; brothers: Sylvester Williams and Billy Townsend.

She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories: her daughters, Shirley (Freddie Lee), Rose Mary Duberry Jones Gibson and Tommie Elisabeth Duberry; and son, Joseph Duberry; 17 grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 34 Great-Great Grandchildren; sister, Gertrude ( Michael Swain); friends, Harriette Dubois and Cubie Nell Murphy; and a host of family, friends and church members of Holy Ghost From Heaven Deliverance Church.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
