Robert Lee King

Robert (Bill) was born in Tampa, Florida to the late Sam Earl
King, Sr. and Eddie Mae Mallard King. He attended the schools of
Hillsborough County, Florida and graduated from Chamberlain
High School. He attended college in Tampa, FL. Bill was soft spo-
ken and quiet. He was the ninth child born to the union of Sam and
“Pankie,” and was their sixth son. His oldest brother Sam Earl King, Jr. 
(wife Carolyn), preceded him in death.

He leaves three sisters Evelyn King, Gwendolyn Cooley (husband,
Edward Cooley, Sr.), and Beverly King; four brothers, Rickie King,
Sr. (wife, Mayola), Alvin King (wife, Selena), Willie King and Larry
King; numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces.
His love for Christ was never failing and presented itself before he
